Icy lakes pose danger during cold snap

The Government and police forces around the country have been out and about warning young people of the dangers that frozen lakes can pose if they are walked on, although they may look solid, they could be ready for collapse.  Youths have been reported on the Festival Park Lake which has been frozen since last week, outside of Ebbw Vale,  the police have also been called to St.James reservoir in Tredegar for the same problems.
